This is Pippy our Decker Terrier. We jokingly call this picture her “glamor shot”.
Let’s stick with the pet theme for a while. This is Phil, my son and daughter in laws cairn terrier. Taken with a fast lens, stopped down, natural light.
Last fall at my Brother in Law Michael’s house I spent the afternoon trying to get a shot of some raccoons that practically live with him. As you can see from the picture posted that didn’t go too well, but his cat decided to stop and watch what I was dojng from the cover of some weeds. This is what I captured. Hope you enjoy.
The last post of the water drop went over so well let’s do it one more time. Same setup, different angle, and a hundred or so shots later then the previous post. Hope you enjoy.
Last week I decided to try to shoot the classic “Dripping Water Shot”. The set up took some time, but trying to time the shutter release was the real problem. Here’s one of the better ones.
This was taken last fall during the balloon festival. Hand held at night high ISO and slow shutter speed.
While on vacation in Augusta GA this little fellow appeared on the fence bordering Jess and Mike’s house. I was lucky and able to fire a few quick shots. This is one of the better ones.
